Services

Together we focus on your internal world, and the outward expression of your authentic self. We explore maladaptive coping strategies that no longer serve you, and develop skills to move forward in new ways. Approach: Integrative care blending psychodynamic psychotherapy and mindfulness practices to support growth, clarity, and self-expression.

Individual Psychotherapy

Family therapy is a powerful modality to work through interpersonal challenges directly, among adult children, parents, and extended family. Over a course of 3-10 sessions, we address family dynamics in a safe, structured environment. Focus: Emotion coaching, nonviolent communication, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to foster connection, clarify boundaries, and deepen mutual understanding.

Family Therapy for Adults

Thorough psychiatric and medical evaluations are offered across three sessions. We will review treatment options and recommend additional work-ups if needed. Note: Medication management is offered only in the context of ongoing psychotherapy—not as a stand-alone service.

Consultation (Primary Care Referrals)

I provide specialized evaluations to support your Primary Care Provider in managing your mental health care. After three consultation sessions, you and your provider receive a written report with recommendations. By referral from your PCP: For diagnostic clarity and treatment guidance.

FAQ

  • I am not contracted with most insurance companies, however you can submit claims to your insurance on your own behalf with a superbill. Payment in advance is required for initial evaluations, consultations, and family therapy, and at the time of service for follow up appointments, unless I am contracted with your insurance company. You will receive an estimate of service costs.

  • I helped pioneer a multi-state consultation telemedicine program at Providence Hospital in the years leading up to the pandemic, and utilize techniques that are effective in this format.

Telemedicine appointments are available when coming in person for treatment is difficult. If you live in a rural area, are home with a sick child, or are concerned about COVID-19, we can conduct your sessions virtually.
